Lawn Care

Lawn CareWe offer our customers a free lawn evaluation and a customized plan to fit their budget. We will make your lawn grow to its fullest potential by seeding bare spots, killing and preventing weeds and protecting your lawn from insects and grubs as well as liming, in the spring and fall, to correct your soils ph level.

Lawn Dethatching We also offer lawn dethatching which no other lawn care (fertilizer) company offers. Lawn dethatching (power raking) your lawn removes embedded debris and rejuvenates your lawn so it can grow to its fullest potential. Dethatching also allows fertilizer to reach the root system. By maintaining a healthy thatch layer (the layer between the roots and the grass blades), you will prevent your lawn from getting certain insects and diseases. It is a very important first step to get your lawn ready for fertilizer and seed.

Lawn Aeration To keep your lawn thick, green and healthy, we offer lawn aeration. Aeration is the process of removing plugs of soil from your lawn to enhance root growth and establish healthier grass. By reducing soil compaction, aeration increases water and fertilizer uptake by the grass roots, thereby increasing a lawn’s tolerance to heat and drought. It also reduces your thatch layer. The best time to seed is after aerating your lawn; the combination of aeration, seeding and starter fertilizer (along with your watering) will give you a thicker, healthier lawn.

**The rule of thumb is to dethatch in the spring and aerate in the fall. We offer dethatching and aeration in both the spring and fall because sometimes it is necessary twice a year. Every lawn is different and we will gladly recommend what is needed for your turf.
